OKLAHOMA CITY -

A man reportedly high on PCP was arrested after he was seen running down the street naked, according to Oklahoma City police.

DaVante Shontrell Freeman, 20, was taken into custody on charges of public indecency, assault and battery, destruction of property, and public drunkenness.

According to police, officers responded to the incident just before 12 p.m. Saturday, at a home in the 1400 block of N. Page Avenue. Freeman's sister told police that Freeman was high on PCP, a type of synthetic drug, and was making threats.

Freeman's mother said when she tried to talk to Freeman, he yelled "Alah to God! I am Bootsey." They then decided to get out of the home and called police.

Freeman was inside the home when officers arrived. They told him to get on the ground twice, but he reportedly made a fist and took two steps towards the officers.

Officers say Freeman was acting in an offensive and aggressive manner without a weapon. They say he started swinging his arms in front of him as if he was preparing for a fight, that's when an officer used a taser on Freeman to get him under control.

Officers also found an empty .22 long barrel revolver on Freeman's bed.

A neighbor reported to police that she saw Freeman running down the street naked, and she told him to go home.

Freeman was taken to the OU Medical Center to get checked out. He was then transported to the Oklahoma County Jail.
