LINCOLN COUNTY, Oklahoma -- Investigators in Lincoln County say they have identified one of two suspects in a home invasion case they believe could be connected to the recent execution-style murder of an illegal immigrant.

Investigators found 35-year-old Gustavo Barragan Valencia of Mexico dead along on a rural road near N.E. 150th and Pottawatomie Road in Lincoln County, on October 24.

During the course of their homicide investigation, deputies were following leads on a home invasion and abduction. Now, they believe all three crimes are connected.

"We're really focused on the home invasion because we have all the players identified there," said Lincoln County Sheriff Charlie Dougherty. "If we can get those folks in jail, maybe the paranoia level will come down and people will feel like they can come out of hiding."
