MIAMI, Oklahoma -

The executive chef at NEO in Miami has made a full recovery after undergoing surgery in August for two large brain tumors.

According to a news release, Chef Eric Everett of NE Oklahoma A&M College is expected to return to his job as the school's executive chef in early November. He says he really misses cooking.

"I am definitely ready to be back at NEO," Eric Everett said.

NEO says Everett still has to undergo radiation treatments after the surgery.

"I did experience some double vision and difficulty seeing in the beginning, but it has gone away and I feel normal once again, so I have been working on a cookbook that I hope to have published within a year," Erik Everett said.

Everett works for Sodexo.
