CUSTER COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation are investigating a homicide after a man's body was found on the side of the road in Custer County.

Tuesday afternoon, authorities say a woman driving along a rural road saw what she thought was a body and called the county sheriff's office.

Deputies then found the body of 24-year-old Chas Bearshield of Clinton, Oklahoma.

The OSBI says there was trauma to Bearshield's body. He was last known alive on October 15.
