Mother, Son Duo Arrested In Lexington For Allegedly Selling Fake Marijuana

LEXINGTON, Oklahoma -

A mother and son duo is arrested in a synthetic drug bust in Cleveland County.

Documents show both Kim Chi Nguyen and her son, Hoang Thai Nguyen, told police they knew selling fake versions of marijuana was illegal.

Police raided their store, "Kim's Corner," located along Highway 77 in Lexington on October 17. During the raid, police found numerous brands of synthetic marijuana including Potpourri, K2 and Spice. They also found loose marijuana, drug pipes for sale, grinders and $3,000 along with a ledger.

Both face charges of possession of synthetic marijuana with intent to distribute, unlawful distribution of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
