UCO Police Investigate Sexual Assault On Edmond Campus

EDMOND, Oklahoma -

Another sexual assault is reported at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.

According to UCO Police, the assault occurred at the Central Plaza residence hall early Friday morning on October 19.

The incident is currently under investigation by UCO Police. Police have identified a person of interest in the case. However, no arrests have been made or charges filed at this time.

Just last month, an 18-year-old man told police he was sexually assaulted in a room at Murdaugh Hall on September 23.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Warrant Team arrested 34-year-old Elvis J. Perkins of Guthrie for the assault. The district attorney charged Perkins with sexual battery in that case.
