Celebrate the fall season with a free family festival. "Fall Into Art" is a free family art and nature festival set for Sunday, October 21 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Martin Nature Park in Oklahoma City.

Art exhibitions and demonstrations, kids' activities and live music are part of the fun.

"Artists throughout the ages have used nature both as means of inspiration and as material for their work," said Emily Hiatt, Martin Park naturalist. "We want to celebrate the art that is found in the natural environment and show how much art and nature are inter-connected."

Young visitors to "Fall Into Art" can explore their creativity at multiple nature-inspired craft booths. Crafts will include water cycle bracelets, recycled vases, litter collages and pop bottle bird feeders. Participants are asked to bring their own two-liter plastic bottle.

The festival will also feature exhibits and demonstrations by local artists and crafts people, including basket weaving, acrylic painting, recycled textiles, water color pencils, yarn spinning and more.

Local musicians Autumn Wind will perform during the event.

While at Martin Park, festival-goers can enjoy three-plus miles of nature trails, or learn about local wildlife in the Nature Education building.
