Russell Westbrook's double-double led the Thunder past the visiting Phoenix Suns Friday night in Tulsa.

Westbrook played 28 minutes, scored 18 points on 6-11 shooting and dished out 12 assists, leading a strong Thunder offensive effort in front of a sold-out BOK Center.

Kevin Durant added 22 points in 28 minutes, while Serge Ibaka chipped in 13 points and eight boards.

As far as the less-established players are concerned, DeAndre Liggins added seven points and six rebounds, Cole Aldrich put up 12 points and six rebounds, and Hasheem Thabeet managed only five points and four boards in 18 minutes.

The battle for the backup point guard was also in full-effect tonight. Eric Maynor scored nine points on 3-5 shooting, while dishing out five dimes with just one turnover. Reggie Jackson had seven points and three assists, but turned it over three times.

The Thunder played without James Harden, Thabo Sefolosha, Perry Jones III, Kendrick Perkins, Daniel Orton and Lazar Hayward.

Phoenix was led by Wesley Johnson, who scored 18 points off the bench.

The Thunder returns home to OKC Sunday night, hosting the Denver Nuggets at 7 p.m.
