A judge ordered the accused Tulsa County courthouse shooter to stand trial.

Andrew Dennehy is charged with shooting with intent to kill and firearms counts after the shooting in March wounded a Tulsa County sheriff's deputy and a bystander.

Witnesses testified they feared for their lives when shots rang out on the courthouse plaza.

Dennehy's attorney argued his client is not mentally fit to stand trial, but a jury ruled in August that he is.

Prosecutors are now getting ready for trial.

"We'll sit down and discuss whether a plea offer will be made in this case, but pretty much most cases I handle, they are directed toward trial,' said prosecutor Jack Thorp.

Prosecutors expect an insanity defense.

Dennehy is due back in court on Monday.
