Oklahoma City Police launched a manhunt early Tuesday morning for at least two suspects after a man was shot multiple times inside his home near Hefner and Western.
Police say the victim was shot during a robbery around 1:30 a.m. at a house in the 1100 block of N.W. 103rd Street. Police say when they arrived at the scene, the suspects fired another gunshot that may have been aimed at officers.
The suspects escaped the house, and police launched a manhunt. The neighborhood was put on lockdown while officers patrolled the streets, and the police helicopter searched from the air.
Officers were not able to locate the suspects. They do not have a detailed description of the suspects, saying only they were black males wearing masks.
Despite his multiple gunshot wounds, the victim is expected to survive. No officers were injured during the shooting.
