The University of Oklahoma football team placed WR Kenny
Stills and S Tony Jefferson on Phil Steele's 2012 Midseason All-American Team.
Stills was selected to the third team, while Jefferson was a fourth-team
selection.
Stills ranks fourth in the Big 12 and 14th in the nation
with 7.2 receptions per game and ranks fifth in the Big 12 at 86.0 receiving
yards per game. The junior from Encitas, Calif., has registered a pair of
100-yard games this season, posting a career-high 10 receptions for 120 yards
and a touchdown vs. Florida A&M after gaining 121 yards on six receptions
with a 68-yard touchdown at UTEP.
Stills currently ranks No. 5 in the OU career record books
in 100-yard receiving games with five. He also ranks No. 6 in receiving yards
(1,979) and No. 8 in receiving TDs (16) and receptions (151).
Jefferson leads the Sooners with 30 total tackles (20 solo)
this season. The junior from Chula Vista, Calif., produced a career-high 14 tackles
vs. Kansas State. He is on the watch lists for the Bednarik Award, Thorpe
Award, Nagurski Trophy and Walter Camp Award.
