A homeowner chased down a man who burglarized his home in Oklahoma City, then held the suspect down until police arrived.

It happened Thursday night, at a home located in the 12000 block of Cedar Springs Rd. in Oklahoma City.

According to police, the victim came home to find an unfamiliar SUV parked in front of his house. The victim said he saw one person getting into the passenger side of the vehicle, and the suspect, 27-year-old Micah Thames, walking out of the victim's home with a Rifle case.

The victim got out of his car and started chasing Thames through three yards. Thames jumped the fence into the backyard of a neighboring home. The victim was able to catch Thames and hold him down.

The person in that home called police when he saw the two fighting in his backyard. Officers took Thames into custody when they arrived.

When police went to the victim's home, they discovered that several items were missing, including a TV, a gun, six state championship rings and more.

Thames was booked into jail on charges including burglary, possession of a firearm, and possession of drugs and bringing contraband into jail.
