OKLAHOMA CITY - A man was rushed to the hospital Monday morning after he was shot during an armed robbery in southwest Oklahoma City, one of three armed robberies in the same neighborhood within 30 minutes.

Police say an armed robber shot the victim in the hip at his home in the 6300 block of S. Robinson. The victim is expected to live, but the suspect is now on the run. Police have not released a description of the shooter.

Police say the robbery was one of three between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Monday. A woman was also robbed while walking to her car in the 200 block of S.W. 59th Street. And just minutes later, another woman was robbed while walking to her vehicle on S.W. 55th Street.

Neither woman was injured.

Police say all three robberies involve the same suspect, and a gun was used in each crime. Police have not released a description of the suspect.
