This cold snap has some people wondering if we skipped fall and went straight to winter.

But these colder temperatures are welcomed news heading into the first weekend of archery hunting.

Bows, arrows, and a lot of camouflage fly off the racks at Bass Pro shop. Hunters make some last-minute preparations before heading out, meaning good business for sportsman stores.

The experts' hands are full tuning up gear and making sure even beginners know what they're doing.

With forecast high in the 40s over the weekend, these hunters are ready to enjoy the opening weekend.

These hunters prepare for the first outing of the season, hoping their skill take them to the taxidermist come Monday morning.
