Man Accused Of Shooting Victim In Face Surrenders To Enid Police

Enid police say Jeremy Jenkins, also known as Jeremy Smart, surrendered Friday morning. Enid police say Jeremy Jenkins, also known as Jeremy Smart, surrendered Friday morning.
ENID, Oklahoma -

Enid police say a man suspected of shooting a 33-year-old man Thursday night has turned himself into police.

Jeremy Jenkins, also known as Jeremy Smart, surrendered Friday morning. Police say Jenkins was involved in an altercation with Jeffrey Holt around 11:30 p.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of E. Broadway. Police say during the scuffle, Jenkins shot Holt in the face.

Jenkins left the scene before police arrived. Holt was rushed to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He's expected to be okay.

Police say Jenkins turned himself in Friday morning. He was arrested on one count of shooting with intent to kill.
