Police Search For Suspect In Deadly Northwest OKC Shooting

Oklahoma City police are searching for a suspect following a shooting Tuesday afternoon in the northwest part of the city.

Oklahoma City police are searching for a suspect following a deadly shooting Tuesday afternoon in the northwest part of the city.

One person was shot at Adam's Crossing Apartments in the 2400 block of N.W. 39th Street. It's not known what led to the shooting. One person, a man, was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he later died.

The victim's identity has not been released yet.

No one has been arrested.

Maria has lived in the apartment complex for ten years and said she has never seen anything like the crime scene set up in courtyard of the apartments, after a man was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.

Several witnesses were on the scene and questioned by investigators. Ricardo told police and News 9 he saw two men run from the apartment after the gunshot.

Police conducted a three hour investigation. The apartment manager told News 9 police reviewed surveillance tape from several cameras on the property.

Police confirmed one camera caught a glimpse of the possible suspects and a possible car leaving the scene. Police are not relating a description of the suspect(s) and say there is no known motive for the crime.
