A Broken Arrow bus driver died of an apparent medical condition while starting his shift Monday morning. Gary Wagner, 68, was driving in the 2300 block of East Kenosha Street at about 6:35 a.m. when he lost control of his school bus, according to Corporal Leon Calhoun of the Broken Arrow Police Department.

The school bus hit three unoccupied parked cars before coming to rest. There were no students on the school bus.

"Mr. Wagner was transported to Hillcrest South in Tulsa, where he was later pronounced deceased," Calhoun said in a news release.

"There were no signs of injury as a result of the collision, and at this time it is believed that Mr. Wagner succumbed from a medical condition."
