EDMOND, Oklahoma -

Parents are demanding answers after a fight between Central Middle School students on a school bus Thursday escalated. Police were called to the scene and several children walked home.

News 9 talked to one mother who is infuriated. The school says the bus driver didn't do anything wrong, but both sides agree kids should not have gotten off the bus

On the route from Central Middle School a verbal fight got ugly. Paper throwing escalated to a slap across the face. The bus driver pulled over, but eventually called police. There were no cameras because this is a substitute bus, but News 9 is told the scene was chaos.

The district has changed its policy based on this incident and now kids will have assigned seating--- the ones who fought may lose bus privileges.
