A building built in the 20's is getting a modern day makeover to continue the resurgence of downtown Oklahoma City.
The old Guardian Garage will soon be an apartment house with 36 loft-style apartments and a restaurant or two on the bottom floor.
But the building isn't the only thing getting a makeover. Developers have big plans for an adjacent alleyway between the Guardian Garage and the Packard Building.
Park Place will have an outdoor cafe and beautiful overhead lighting. And developers are hoping their tenants are some of Oklahoma's own. But it's more than just renovating an old building. This remodel is another piece of the renaissance of downtown.
The Guardian Garage and the Park Place Plaza are slated to be finished by the end of this year.
