Accidental Stabbing Sends Young OKC Girl To Hospital

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City police are on the scene of a stabbing at an apartment complex in the northwest part of the metro, Thursday afternoon.

The incident occurred at a complex located at 6310 N. Meridian Ave.

According to police, two boys were fighting when one boy threw a pair of scissors across the room, striking another child, a female around the age of 11, in the shoulder. Police say the stabbing was accidental and that they are not charging anyone for the incident.

Emergency responders took the girl to OU Medical Center. Her condition is still unknown at this time.

No word yet on how old the two boys are.
