A train jumps the tracks north of the metro.

It happened just after noon on Thursday about five miles northeast of Perry. Nineteen cars derailed. At least one car is leaking Hydrogen Peroxide gas, but fire crews have deemed the area safe. No homes are in the area and no injuries are reported.

Investigators are now on scene to determine why the train derailed.
