MUSKOGEE COUNTY, Oklahoma -

An escapee from an Oklahoma City DOC work release center may be in Muskogee County.

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections say Jerry Pippin, 38, escaped on September 20th.

The DOC says Pippin was serving sentences out of Atoka County for Possession Of Pseudoephedrine With Intent To Manufacture and has been rumored to be somewhere in Muskogee County.

The Muskogee County Sheriff's Office says Pippin may be in the Wainwright area, southwest of Muskogee.

State prison officials say Pippin should be considered armed and dangerous.

If spotted, you should call the Muskogee County Sheriff's Office or the Oklahoma Department of Corrections at 866-363-1119
