On Wednesday the two year old's aunt went before a judge for her video arraignment. Van Le, 49, was denied bond and told she was being held on first-degree murder.

Court papers allege Le told police she was the only care giver for the two year old the day she was brought to the hospital. And that she took care of her the past year at her home on NW 28th street.

Court papers state that a 7-year-old witness said he saw Le pick up baby, shake her and throw her down to the floor. Neighbors who know Le say they are shocked at the allegations.
