OKLAHOMA CITY -

A home in southwest Oklahoma City is destroyed by fire Wednesday morning.

Firefighters responded to the home located in the 1300 block of S.W. 81st Place around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. A postal worker first noticed the black smoke billowing from the home and reported it.

According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, police searched the area for a suspect, who neighbors say set a couch on fire then walked away. The couch was on the front porch of the home.

Police have no suspects in custody at this time. The house is considered a total loss.
