The professional gambler is one of nine people accused in a federal gambling indictment. After a federal court ruling on Tuesday, Mitchell has been released from jail on unsecured $500,000 bond.

According to officials, Mitchell had to submit his DNA sample. Even though he has been released, he is under house arrest, and must wear a GPS monitoring device.

Mitchell is under the supervision of U.S. probation officers, and he cannot travel outside Oklahoma unless being approved. Officials say Mitchell cannot have any alcohol or firearms with him. He has to surrender his passport by noon on Wednesday.

Mitchell's sister also testified during the detention hearing and vouched for Mitchell's release.

Mitchell has been indicted on dozens of counts for allegedly running an illegal gambling business out of his home in the 600 block of N.W. 150th Street, the same home where his wife, Julie Mitchell, was murdered in November 2010.

On Monday, Mitchell pled not guilty to federal charges against him.

An 81-count indictment unsealed names nine men, including seven from Oklahoma, and a Costa Rican corporation. Six defendants, including Teddy's sons, were released from the federal courthouse in downtown Oklahoma City Monday as they now await trial.
