Edmond Man Charged With Making Bomb

EDMOND, Oklahoma -

An Edmond man is officially charged with making a bomb.

Matthew Burke, 45, was arrested when Edmond police caught him stealing copper.

Police found a text message from Burke's phone about a homemade bomb. He admitted to making a bomb and put it underneath a Midwest City man's truck.

The bomb squad was able to recover the device.
