EDMOND, Oklahoma -

Some Edmond students really got the royal treatment on Monday.

The Deputy Lieutenant of London, sent by Her Majesty the Queen herself, was at Santa Fe High School with several other representatives.

They were in the metro to invite the school's band to perform in London's New Year's Day parade. The parade is called the biggest event of its kind anywhere in the world.

In addition to the parade, the band members will get some culture with visits to historic sites, museums and more.
