Trial Begins Monday For Woman Charged In Shooting At Midwest City Bar

Jury selection begins Monday morning for a Guthrie woman who was attacked by bar patrons after allegedly shooting two people at Midwest City bar.

Police say Wendy Whisman shot two people after a fight at Da Bomb Club in Midwest City in August 2011. Both shooting victims recovered.

Right after the shooting, several people beat Whisman and held her for police. She suffered a broken nose and facial injuries in the attack.

Whisman is charged with two counts of assault and battery.
