News 9 Tours

If you are looking for a great field trip for kids, I highly recommend a tour of the News 9 television station. Whether it's a group of boy or girl scouts, home school groups, or a class field trip; children of all ages have a great time checking out the weather center and getting to see Bob Mills Skynews9 HD up close and personal. We often see the adults having just as much fun as the children. Many of my friends have asked me if they could visit the station over the years, but there are also a lot of people who had no idea tours were even available.

A tour can be particularly helpful to children who are scared of storms. We love to entertain the kids by explaining all of the tools we use to deliver the forecasts and severe weather coverage. They love to get in front of the camera on the weather wall and be silly, kind of like us sometimes!
