A man was arrested after a two-hour standoff with police at an apartment in northeast Oklahoma City late Saturday night.

It happened just before 11 p.m. Saturday, at the Park Place Apartments, located in the 200 block of N.E. 28th and Stiles.

Officers say security guards were called out to an apartment due to a noise complaint. But they got more than they bargained for.

"They knocked on the door. They stated the subject came to the door with a firearm pointed at the security guards. At that point they backed away and contacted police," said Jason Samuels with Oklahoma City police.

Police tried to talk the man into coming out of the apartment. After two hours, he gave himself up.

He was arrested at the scene.

No one was hurt during the incident. The suspect's identity has not been released.
