Westbound Lanes Of Kilpatrick Turnpike Reopen

OKLAHOMA CITY -

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has removed the wreckage from a crash and reopened westbound lanes of the Kilpatrick Turnpike at May Avenue.

The crash happened just before 8 a.m., shutting down all westbound traffic. The lanes reopened about an hour later. It's not known if anyone was seriously injured in the accident.

OHP says although the highway has reopened, drivers can expect congestion in the area to continue for a while.
