Three Tulsa players scored their first goals of the season as the women's soccer team dominated UMKC 3-0 on Sunday at the UMKC Invitational in Kansas City.

With the win, Tulsa improved to 5-2 on the season, while knocking the Kangaroos to 2-3-2 in 2012.

Lexis Learmonth got the Golden Hurricane on the board with a header goal off a corner kick to take a lead just five minutes into the contest off a pass from Claire Hulcer. Hulcer then scored a goal of her own in the 38th minute on a 25-yard strike into the upper left corner of the net to give TU a 2-0 lead.

Alexa Sidorakis scored the third and final goal for Tulsa in the 78th minute off an assist from Claire Nicholson.

Tulsa had a 9-3 advantage in shots, including a dominant 7-0 lead in shots on goal. TU now has 10 players that have scored goals this season.

Katie Bykowski logged all 90 minutes in goal for her 21st career shutout.

Tulsa will return to action on Friday when the Golden Hurricane hosts rival Oral Roberts at 7:30 p.m. at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
