Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident In Roger Mills County

ROGER MILLS COUNTY, Oklahoma -

An Oklahoma man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Roger Mills County just after 12 p.m. Sunday.

The accident occurred on state highway 283, two miles north of Grimes Rd.

According to the police report, 51-year-old Delbert Bogard was driving his 2012 Harley Davidson southbound on 283 when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway for an unknown reason.

The motorcycle departed the road to the right and Bogard was thrown approximately 173 feet. He died at the scene due to his injuries.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of this accident.
