Friday afternoon, fans in RV's had already made their way to their spots on Memorial Stadium's East end.

Carol and Glenn Funk have been coming to games for more than three decades in an RV.  Glenn is so devoted to the Sooners, he showed up Friday even though he had major surgery just four days earlier.

"[I had] gallbladder surgery Tuesday," said Funk.

When asked how he still managed to make it out for the Sooner's home opener, Funk responded, "I'm just tough."
