OKLAHOMA CITY -

An off-duty security guard was arrested Thursday after being accused of exposing himself to a female driver and masturbating while driving down Interstate 40 in Oklahoma City.

William Everett Brownfield, 34, was arrested on charges of indecent exposure, failure to show proof of insurance, and driving under suspension.

The victim claimed she was traveling westbound in the outside lane of I-40 when she noticed a vehicle get behind her and then switched lanes abruptly.

The victim said that vehicle then sped up to get directly beside her vehicle, and she said it appeared that the driver in the vehicle was trying to get her attention.

According to the police report, the victim then looked towards that vehicle, the driver, later identified as Brownfield, nodded his head in a downward motion towards his pelvic area.

The victim said she noticed that Brownfield had his underwear and his pants pulled down below his waist, exposing his bare genital area, and he began to masturbate.

The victim said Brownfield masturbated for about five seconds. She quickly exited off of Czech Hall Road from I-40 while Brownfield continued to travel west on I-40.

The victim spoke with a police officer after she exited off the interstate and told him about what happened. The officer was able to catch up with Brownfield's vehicle and pull him over.

Brownfield told police he was only trying to get over so he could exit, and the victim was not letting him over, that's when he pulled up behind her, and changed lanes to pull up beside her vehicle.

Brownfield denied taking his pants down and exposing himself, according to police.

Police said Brownfield was not being cooperative during the investigation, and if he were to exit, he would have had plenty of opportunities to do so if he was able to get behind the victim's vehicle.

Brownfield was then arrested and transported to the Oklahoma County Jail.
