STILLWATER, Oklahoma -

A mother and her five children say they were kicked out of a motel in Stillwater because of one child's disability and medical equipment.

On Thursday, police escorted the family off the Motel 6 property in Stillwater.

The mother of five tells News 9 her motel bill was paid in advance when the Stillwater Motel 6 ordered her out. She says the motel  blames her epileptic daughter for disturbing guests.

Tammy Searcy packed up her kids and moved to the Motel 6 so they could spend time as family. Mr. Searcy is on assignment in Stillwater.

The family does have a home in El Reno, but Searcy says she wants to stay close to her husband in Stillwater because her ill daughter may only have weeks to live.
