Patient Of Fake Dentist In OKC Speaks Out

OKLAHOMA CITY -

One of the patients who sought care from a fake dentist in Oklahoma City speaks out Tuesday.

Carroll Jerrett says he went to Elizabeth Hinosa, or Dr. Liz as she was known, for nearly a year and a half. He spent more than $6,000 on dental work and even had her put braces on his teenage daughter. All the while thinking she was a legitimate dentist.

"I'm just worried about my daughter now," Jerrett said. "Because if she was doing this to me, she was subjecting my daughter to the same thing."

Both police and the Dental Board are after Elizabeth Hinosa for felony charges for practicing dentistry without a license and for the medical battery of at least 22 patients. Hinosa remains on the run.
