Oklahoma City police are searching for a man who used a credit card just minutes after it was stolen from a man during an armed robbery.

Police released information about the August 2 robbery on Tuesday. Around 10:30 p.m., a man was getting out of his truck at an apartment complex near W. Hefner and N. Council Road. The victim said as he opened his door, a man with a gun approached him. The man took his wallet and ran away. The victim wasn't hurt.

A short time after the robbery, one of the victim's credit cards was used at a convenience store near NW Expressway and Council. A security camera recorded video of the suspect, who was a black male wearing a black T-shirt, and a black and red baseball cap. Police have released a photo from the surveillance video.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
