Registered Sex Offender Accused Of Masturbating At Southwest OKC Street Corner

Oklahoma City police arrested a man accused of exposing himself on a street corner and trying to get into a woman's car.

The woman told police around 6:30 a.m. on August 31, she drove her boyfriend to work at S.W. 5th Street and MacArthur. She said she saw 28-year-old Joshua Allan Hocking, shirtless and wearing only pajama pants, masturbating near the corner; but she ignored him and kept driving.

The woman said after she dropped off her boyfriend, she stopped at the traffic light at the same intersection. She said Hocking approached her passenger-side door with his genitals in his hand. She said he tried to open the door and began beating on the window with his fist. She drove away as quickly as possible and called police.

Officers found Hocking at the same intersection a few minutes later. They arrested him and booked him into the Oklahoma County jail on counts of indecent exposure and public drunkenness.

During the booking process, police discovered Hocking was a registered sex offender who had a prior conviction for indecent exposure.
