LOGAN COUNTY, Oklahoma -

A head-on collision in Logan County claimed the life of one person Monday afternoon.

The two-vehicle collision happened just after 4 p.m. Monday, on state highway 77, about four miles north of Guthrie. Officials say one person was killed. The person's identity has not been released.

Authorities shut down the northbound lanes of state highway 77 on the Cimarron Bridge in Logan County due to the crash. The highway reopened just after 10 p.m. Monday.
