OKLAHOMA CITY -

EMSA is warning against the possibly dangerous heat this week.

"I think people kind of get complacent," said Mike Roy with EMSA, who responded to three heat related calls Sunday.

"A lot of the time, they don't realize it until it happens to them," Roy said.

Roy said when the temperature climbs after relatively mild days, people don't prepare for the change in the weather.

Roy reminds people to drink water and wear loose clothing outside.

The forecasted high in Oklahoma City Monday was 104, and triple digit heat is expected again Tuesday.
