Always interesting when an unknown steps into the spotlight and shines at the political conventions. So it was last night for Mia Love, the Mayor of a small town in Utah, who's running for Congress. She stole the show last night in my opinion, but here's what you had to say.
Okstoneman first: "Kelly's rising star hitched her hopes to the wrong political party. Blacks and females are not welcome in the party of rich old white men."
Blirg writes: "True Mia Love might be charming and delivered a (heck) of a speech but deep down she's just like all of the rest. A slimy politician."
To which Jack says: "More liberal hate from the so called compassionate group."
Jerry writes: "I know she must be an intelligent woman, so I know she realized the only reason she got to speak was because she was black and a woman. How desperate is the Republican party?"
And I got a lot of that. Ksooner says: "Kelly-have you heard of a token black? Also, being a female doesn't hurt her chances to be a star at the RNC."
BJ writes: "Mia Love was just so much 'fluff' - no meat and potatoes. Sorry Kelly, wrong again."
Finally K says: "You are showing your Republican colors when you said she was especially good when she went on the attack. I bet you stood up and applauded while you were watching it!"
