OKC Police Arrest Man Accused Of Being Drunk, Biting Officer

Police arrest a man at an Oklahoma City hotel after he allegedly bit an officer.

According to a police report, a security guard at the hotel called police when he was unable to wake up a man who appeared to be drunk.

When police arrived, they found Donald William Deemer in the hallway of the 10th floor of the hotel located at 10 N. Broadway.

Police said when Deemer would not respond verbally to the officer, that officer grabbed his wrist and tried to wake him. Witnesses told police that's when Deemer started to push and struggle with the officer. During the struggle, police said Deemer bit the officer on the wrist.

Deemer was taken into custody and booked on charges of assault and battery on a police officer and public drunk.
