The Oklahoma City RedHawks won their third straight game, taking a 6-5 victory against Albuquerque on Tuesday in Bricktown.
Albuquerque took at early 3-0 lead, which it carried all the way into the seventh inning. The RedHawks did not record a hit through six innings but Matt Downs erased that with a three-run shot in the seventh to tie the game.
OKC tacked on two more runs in the seventh when Matt Dominguez stepped up to the plate and cranked a two-run homer over the left field wall for a 5-3 advantage.
The Isotopes wouldn't go away, though, as they scored two in the top of the eighth inning to tie the game at 5 each.
But the RedHawks had the last say when J.D. Martinez hit a sacrifice fly to right field, scoring Brad Snyder for the winning run in the bottom of the eighth.
Oklahoma City takes on the Isotopes again on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. in OKC.
