The Oklahoma City RedHawks picked up their second win in a row on Monday and did the lion's share of the effort in one inning.

The RedHawks topped Albuquerque 6-1 in Bricktown, scoring all six runs in the seventh and eighth innings.

The Isotopes took a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning and Oklahoma City's offense appeared to be missing in action as the bottom of the seventh rolled around but the RedHawks' bats came alive.

The scoring started when Brad Snyder drove in two runs on an RBI single, scoring Angel Sanchez and J.B. Shuck. Later in the inning, Matt Downs hit a sacrifice fly into left field, allowing Shuck to score for a 3-1 lead.

Then Mike Hessman made it four runs in the inning when he smashed a solo shot over the left field wall.

Snyder got the scoring started again in the eighth with a ground-ball single to left field that drove Carlos Corporan in for a 5-1 lead. The sixth and final run came when Hessman was walked in a bases-loaded situation, scoring Brian Bixler from third.

Reliever Enerio Del Rosario picked up the win with two innings of work on the mound, allowing just one hit and no runs. Jarred Cosart started and threw five innings, allowing five hits, five bases on balls and an earned run while striking out five batters.

The two teams pick up the series again on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. in Bricktown.
