Grady County Man Run Over By Train

GRADY COUNTY, Oklahoma -

An Oklahoma man was killed after being run over by a train in Grady County, Sunday morning.

The accident occurred near county road 1290, just east of US Highway 81 in Grady County just after 8 a.m.

According to the police report, 42-year-old Daniel Watson of Amber, Okla. was lying on the tracks when he was run over by the Union Pacific 5080 train. He was pronounced dead at the scene due to massive injuries.

There were three people onboard the train, including the train's conductor. None of them were injured.

Police are not sure why Watson was lying on the train tracks.
