3-year-old Fatally Shot In South OKC

A 3-year-old boy was shot at an apartment complex in south Oklahoma City.

OKC Police have confirmed that the child died of a single gunshot wound to the head. First responders attempted to resuscitate the child but he died at the scene.

Police arrived at the The Carriage House apartment complex, located at 1210 W. I-240 between Penn and Western just before 6 p.m.

The father of the child was home when the shooting took place. The cause is under investigation.
