WARR ACRES, Oklahoma -

What was originally thought to be a shooting in Warr Acres Thursday night was actually a domestic altercation in the 6000 block of N.W. 63rd Street.

Police were called to the Twin Lake Apartments near N.W. 63rd and MacArthur around 10 p.m. Officers say there was a fight at the location, and someone pulled out a gun and fired one shot into the air.

The bullet did not hit anyone, but other people at the apartment beat up the shooter. He was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries. Police say he will be arrested when he is released from the hospital.
