OKLAHOMA CITY -

A fugitive in an Oklahoma City Police murder investigation was apprehended on the south side of the metro, Wednesday afternoon.

Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputies and U.S. Marshals found 28-year-old Jeffery Ramirez hiding in the attic of a house located at 1300 SW 38th St. around 4 p.m.

"Our deputies have been working on this case for some time. It's good to see the suspect was arrested and is in jail," said Sheriff John Whetsel.

The sheriff's report did not state what murder Ramirez was sought in connection to or the details of his bond.
