OKC Police Arrest Second Suspect In Fatal Shooting

Oklahoma City police have arrested a second person accused of the killing of 21-year-old Raul Chavez.

Oklahoma City police have arrested a second person accused of the killing of 21-year-old Raul Chavez.

Chavez was shot to death August 5 in the 8000 block of N.W. 11th Street. Police said there was a gathering at the home. A fight broke out, and someone started shooting. Chavez died at the scene and two other people received non-life threatening bullet wounds.

On August 21, police arrested 24-year-old Alma Garcia in connection with Chavez's death. During her arrest, Garcia claimed she didn't do anything and wanted to know why she was being arrested.

Garcia was booked into Oklahoma County jail on one complaint of first-degree murder and two complaints of shooting with intent to kill.

Garcia is the second suspect arrested in the case. Police took 20-year-old Daniel Ramirez into custody August 8.
